I’m Chris Zarnik, owner of Positive Rate Mortgage, LLC. I’m a veteran and retired Air Force Reserve military aviator whose flying career has included the T-38, KC-10 and KC-135. Today, I fly the Boeing 767 for a major cargo carrier. My military and professional aviation experience gives me a firsthand understanding of the careers, income structures, relocations and financial circumstances veterans, military families and pilots may encounter. I have worked in mortgage origination since 1998 and have completed more than 3,000 mortgages. I help borrowers evaluate VA, conventional, jumbo, FHA, construction, renovation, investment-property, second-home, HELOC and specialized mortgage options available through multiple wholesale lenders. As the owner and sole mortgage professional at Positive Rate Mortgage, you work directly with me—not a call center or layers of employees. I remain personally involved from the initial conversation through closing, helping clients compare financing options and work through challenges that may arise during the mortgage process.
